Consequences of Learning/ International Early Childhood

Consequences of Learning about International Early Childhood

Considering international early childhood, first I noticed that their concerns for young children are the same as the U.S., but some put more thought, care, and energy in the areas of childhood care and development.

Second, Global understanding of how healthy development happens and how it can be derailed and how to get back on track. Unlike the U.S., the focus is on low in-come and middle in-come families. Turkey has a Mother and Child Education Foundation that contributes to developing ways of helping parents and children’s education.

Third, Global network that raise awareness for the education of all. The United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization, some teachers and coordinators, input that learning about culture and knowing their history is among the few things of importance that a child should know as they see it.

In my opinion, the main goal for childhood learning education international is to advocate for the best educational start, and over all well-being of children everywhere. The collegial relationships are more important that realized. With these relationships educational colleagues Nation Wide can keep each other encouraged and informed of new and all development.

Sharing Web Resources

After more search of The National Black Child Development Institution, I decided to take a closer look at the Support NBCDI. It leads to different sections of information.

  • The Donate Now invitation request to make a difference in the lives of our children and families.
  • The Join invitation, strengthen your community by becoming a member of ours, explaining the supports process. It invites the joining of over 2,000 educators, administrators, early care and education professionals, human services specialists, and students across the country who believes every child deserves a chance to succeed. Leads to ideas of the types of joining and a number of affiliates, and gives ideas of net-working, social media net-working. Build your knowledge and skills with conferences, resources curricula of culturally-relevant, research-based, health, parent engagement and social-emotional development to aid in a most effective with black children and their families.
  • Advocacy provides a unified presence to our country’s policy makers, legislative influences, and local resources through active and net-work affiliates across the country.
  • Stay connected get up to date newsletters.
  • Shop, for early childhood education, gifts, literacy, child health, and more.

National Black Child Development Institute

The Early Care and Education; and Literacy, is particularly relevant to my professional focus of concern. Promoting access to high quality settings and systems for children birth through eight.
The foundation ensures that all children are reading proficiently by the end of 3rd grade. It focuses on the particular strengths and needs of black children and families.
The foundation has affiliates and national partners. Affiliates who supports the organizations campaign for grade level reading which works to "help children embrace reading and improve their academic performance". from this grew the raising a reader family engagement literacy program, a nonprofit organization that offers evidence-based to local supporting agencies.
Early Care and Education supports the educational and socio-emotional effects of children for a successful development. Children from low-income families are able to participate and benefit from quality early education care because federal, state, and local efforts is supported by NBCDI.

Parent Empowerment Program (PEP) is another insight, it supports and empowers parents allowing support for conversations of race, culture, gender, and class differences in order to understand, learn, grow, and respect and accept all children and their families. The parent group reflects on areas that will support parents to help their children in areas of positive guidance, literacy, growth and development and more.

The Alliance for Early Success is a catalyst for bringing state, national and funding partners. My controversial issue is the idea that black children seem to only get teachers who are less qualified, and less effective (par3). This is why it is so important to teach culture. Most of the time black children are misunderstood by teachers who does not look like them, I have seen it often. If anyone keep telling a child that he is bad, that child tends to curve right in that path and carry-out the actions of a bad child. These actions and thoughts is unhealthy for the child as well as the teacher.

Children's International Study

After studying Harvard's website of International children's study, I have gained insights of equity and excellence. The Global Children's Initiative, educate high level decision makers of early childhood education. The initiative work to expand global understanding of how healthy development happens and how it can be derailed, and how to get back on track.
Unlike the US, they focus on low income, and middle income families.
Mother Child Education Foundation of Turkey contributes to Global Child Initiative. The Global International has developed what seems to be a scientific way of helping children and families to experience a complete child development. The science of child health and development to guide stronger policies.
